Dr. Elizabeth Long graduated from dental school at U.T. Dental Branch in Houston and was a practicing general dentist in Austin for 4 years. She entered her orthodontic residency as one of six residents at UTDB, being the 5th woman to graduate from that program. Upon graduation, she opened a private practice in South Austin. She and her team opened a second location in Buda to serve Hays County in 2011 and are now in Hays County full time.

She and her team support many charitable community activities through the area schools, Brown Santa, West Rural Community Center, Manos de Cristos Dental Clinic, the Austin State School, Hays County Food Bank, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, YMCA and the Austin Academy. Dr. Long has been an active member of University Christian Church serving as Elder, Board Secretary and Board President.

As your orthodontist, Dr. Long will provide you with a gentle touch, detailed explanation of your treatment plan, best treatment methods and the latest in technology. She is also a great teacher. She and her team like to have fun in the office while providing excellent care and customer service.

Away from the office, you may see Dr. Long travelling, hitting the beach at Port Aransas, getting together with her family or walking her poodle, Joy. In addition to providing sensational smiles to South Austin in the past years, she and her team are serving Hays County providing beautiful smiles on a full time basis. We look forward to meeting you soon!
