Elizabeth A. Long, D.D.S.
Dr. Long graduated from dental school at U.T. Dental Branch in Houston, TX in 1979. She practiced general dentistry in Austin from that time until 1983. In 1983, Dr. Long entered her orthodontic residency program as one of six residents at U. T. D. B. Being the fifth woman to graduate from that program, she graduated in 1985, and opened an orthodontic practice in South Austin.

While in practice in orthodontics since 1985, Dr. Long has become active in several community activities. The office is an "Adopter" in the Austin Independent School District "Adopt-A-School" program for Covington Middle School and Boone Elementary School. Dr. Long is also active in the Oak Hill Rotary Club, a philanthropic organization comprised of business owners. She has served in several offices, in that club, and received the "Rotarian of the Year" Award. She supports many other community activities through the area schools, "Meals on Wheels", Brown Santa, West Rural Community Center, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, YMCA and Campfire. She has been an active member in her church, University Christian Church, since 1970 serving as elder, Board Secretary and Board President.

Dr. Long is a member of the Capital Area Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and American Dental Association. She holds membership in the Southwest Society of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists. She also participates in the Capitol City Orthodontic Study Club, the U.T. Orthodontic Alumni Century Club and the U.T. Central Texas Study Club and the Texas Exes.
