Meet Dr. Long

Dr. Long graduated from dental school at U.T. Dental Branch-Houston in 1979 and was a practicing general dentist in Austin from 1979 to 1983. She entered her orthodontic residency program as one of six residents at U.T.D.B in 1983. Being the fifth woman to graduate from that residency program, she opened her private orthodontic practice in South Austin in 1985.

She and her staff support many other community activities through the area schools, Brown Santa, West Rural Community Center, Manos de Cristos Dental Clinic, the Austin State School, Capitol Area Food Bank, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, YMCA and the Austin Academy. She has been an active member of University Christian Church since 1970 serving as Elder, Board Secretary and President.
